Slab Benches are the perfect complement to a Natural Playground.

Slab Benches are made of half logs, so that edges are organically-shaped, and growth lines can be seen and counted. These Slab Benches will probably still have bark on the edges, so they blend in beautifully in the middle of flower gardens, near the edge of woods or grassy areas, or anywhere else on your playground, and they help maintain a really natural feeling.

These can be placed 6’ apart for a safe outdoor classroom, and arranged in front of a chalkboard and/or demonstration table (see elsewhere in the store).

Benches invite conversations, create meeting places, provide a place for quiet contemplation, act as collection tables, and are wonderful for socializing while also giving children a place to rest while playing, so these are inexpensive, must-have item for your Natural Playground.

Our standard bench size is 4' long, but widths may vary from 10" to 12" or wider.

Kit includes all materials, hardware, and simple assembly instructions.
